http://hpux.cs.utah.edu/hppd/hpux/Gnu/gcc-2.95.3/

You can find ready compiled compilers for hpux ported above.. that's the lates gcc there.

Keep an eye out here for it if it appears.

Re: heard about GNU GCC 3.0

Hmmmm.....No mention of GCC 3 on the gnu site, as you said. According to them the latest, released March 16, 2001, is GCC 2.95.3.

Doesn't look like there's a 3 version out yet according to that.

Re: heard about GNU GCC 3.0

there's no question 2.95.3 is the latest to date.
See freshmeat.net also.

Re: heard about GNU GCC 3.0

GCC 2.95.3 is the latest released version.

GCC 3.0 is still under development, and is only available
via CVS or as a snapshot. If you still want to get it, look
at gcc.gnu.org/snapshots.

Hi,

Thanks for inforamtion , freshmeat site is real good.
Finally,
I could see GCC 3.0 over here,
http://www.linuxppc.org/software/index/developers/kfukui/tools/gcc-3.0-20010427pre_0a.ppc.html

I still have not tried it. These are just rpms. Could not get the SRPMS.
I will install and check it.
