/usr/sbin/swinstall -x mount_all_filesystems=false -x match_target=true -x autoreboot=true -s /opt/nmp/setups/rzhangtmp/zlib-1.1.4-hpux
I always got ERROR MESSAGE like:
======= 03/24/03 11:32:15 EAT BEGIN swinstall SESSION
(non-interactive)
* Session started for user "root@beeda14".
* Beginning Selection
* Target connection succeeded for "beeda14:/".
NOTE: The match operation failed to find software in the source that
matches software on the target.
NOTE: Cannot continue the "swinstall" task.
But If I use the interactive way to install the zlib everything is ok.command like below:
swinstall -s /opt/nmp/setups/rzhangtmp/zlib-1.1.4-hpux
I don't know why the swinstall can't find the software in non-interactive way.but can find the software in interactive way.

Re: [HELP]about non-interactive swinstall[HELP]
Also this should do it in none interactive mode:
#swinstall -s /opt/nmp/setups/rzhangtmp/zlib-1.1.4-hpux \*
Thanks and good luck.

Re: [HELP]about non-interactive swinstall[HELP]
This will tell you what does "\*" mean:
#man swinstall|grep \*
Also, it'll be more thanksful if you assign points.
Thanks again.
