i reset the par with RS ON the MP ,but it stops at "ready to boot/boot is blocked" by VFP,there are not any output on the console; i use BO to boot the par, also it stops at "boot/boot is blocked";i use PE to power off then on the cell belonging to the par, also it stops at "boot/boot is blocked" ;i use RE to reset the cell, and it comes to the same bad result.....
the system will never boot.

Re: help me!

Bonjour,

I have no Cell Harware to control results of some commands. So my help will be limited.

But in a first time I notice a BIB conditition : < it stops at "ready to boot/boot is blocked" >. You can reach this condition when a nPar as been modified. So I think you should control the configuration of your nPars, specially for the nPar which doesn't boot. You can do that from any other running nPar with parstatus command.

If you don't notice any modification, I suggest you place a hardware call to HP.

Hope this will help

Re: help me!

Well. Partition1 is configured with cell 1 and internal IO chassis 1. But, I dont like this output :

- Cell attached to partition number 1 is seen as NO in "Core Cell Capable"
- Chassis attached to partition number 1 is seen as "NO" in "Core IO"
- Partition 1 is seen as "?" in Core cell

I do think you have a hardware problem. Open a support case at HP.

Re: help me!

I think that this confirms my previous post. Problem on cell 1 is there :
Core Cell Number : 0x00 (cabinet=0, cell=0, Invalid)

Have you opened a call ? Unfortunately I think it is the only way to solve the problem.

Good luck

Eric
