Help on E-mail Escalation within 250msec.

Hi,
Can someone guide me or have solution to congigure e-mail escalations within 250msec. Is there some configuration changes that needs to be done in my templets.

Hi,

Email is not the most efficient way to send alerts considering that there may be many mail relays/hops and each relay has a mail queue. The latency is significant if there are many hops with long mail queues.

Localised paging alerts through a directly connected modem would be more efficient and effective.

If your network connectivity is down, you will not be able to send emails but you will be able to dial-out a page through the directly-connected modem.
