Help! Runaway dtcnmp.log
After watching /var steadily grow in size for several days I have found that the log file: /var/opt/dtcmgr/log/dtcnmp.log is filling up with error messages:
<4017> : timeout waiting for response from DTC
A new message appears about once per second. All of my DTCs appear to be functioning properly.
Can't zero out the file, tried that.
Questions - can I stop / restart the dtcnmd daemon without booting all the users? Will a reboot cure this?
RSVP ASAP, thanks!

Re: Help! Runaway dtcnmp.log
Ok, resolved it on my own.
I found the scripts "kill_dtc_daemons" and "start_dtc_daemons" in the directory /opt/dtcmgr/tools.
This both cleared the log and stopped the error, apparently caused by a DTC on the WAN that had been booted several times by repeated power failures.
I ran them at a time when all users were logged out so I do not know what effect this would have had on users currently connected via DTCs.
