Good afternoon
In a customer, we have a server with HP-ux 10.20 in k2000, and for any type of command run he crashed. In some cases until he begins to run and shows some exits, but after a while. Do not know why this problem.
The server will return to normal only when opened another screen of putty.
Who would have some idea of what it would be?
I would thank.

Re: Help with hp-ux 10.20 server hangs / slow with all commands
Since 10.20 has been out of support for years, HP may not even offer this if you paid for it.

Re: Help with hp-ux 10.20 server hangs / slow with all commands
For all procedures cited by you I need some type commands. and any command that is entered, for simpler than it is the server crash. I can not complete any task, because the terminal lock and only returns to normal when opened a new terminal.
The machine is a hp-ux 10.20 and is a server K2000.
If you can help me as fast as possible I would.

Re: Help with hp-ux 10.20 server hangs / slow with all commands
There is no k2000 so these instruction are for a k class server, i.e., k420, k580.
Go to the machine.
Open the panel.
Note the inside documentation that lists the serial number, model, etc.
Note the LCD screen to the left and right down what you see. For exmaple, FLT AC0X.
Note the lock that accepts a key near the LCD screen. Does it have a key in it? What is the key turned to?
Is there a console on the box itself? Try typing in
return
return
he (* help *)
Review the command set. Note the RS and SL commands. RS will reboot the box immediately. SL will display the error logs. To get the error logs type in SL and answer E for error and N for no filters.
Copy down this information especially the Alerts and time stamps.
