Host name supporting in various versions-info needed

Hi All,

1. Ineed your help to clarify the various versions of HPUX till now.
What I learned is
HPUX 11i version 1 ==>B 11.11
HPUX 11i version 1.6 ==>B 11.22

hpux 11i version 2==>B 11.23

hpux 11 i versoin 3==>B 11.31

any other version is there other than this?

2. I know in 11.11 by default the host name should be upto max 8 characters.

in 11.22 how is it?

in 11.23 how is it?

1n 11.31 how is it?

Hi,
In 11.23 you can change the length of the host nmame by installing the bundle. You can get the bundle from the below link

For 11.31 you can change it using the kernal parameter

expanded_node_host_names
