Re: hosts.allow file syntax

hosts.allow file syntax

Does anyone know what the HP syntax is for putting subnets in a hosts.allow file. Is it like xxx.xxx. with or without the trailing "."

Re: hosts.allow file syntax

Hi

I think you require hosts.equiv

See man hosts.equiv for syntax.

Re: hosts.allow file syntax

Hello,

we do it by just entering in the first three octets WITH the training ".". Put in the trailing ".".

Hope this helps
