I need measure the nflocks consumptions in a data base system.

Do you have lsof tool installed?? (if yes)

lsof | awk 'match("NrRwWuUx",substr($0,31,1))'|wc -l

If you have glance, enter the command "t" for "system tables".
Among other parameters, File locks (nflocks)
