Hello,
To have the lan card statistics you can
use
#lanadmin

also you can use the netstat -i on the command line.

Hamdi

Perform the following steps to check lan traffic:
1) lanscan : Pay close attention to the columm with the NM ID number, you will need this later.

2) Lanadmin : Enter the lanadmin menu

3) Lan : Enter lan submenu

4) ppa : Display's the current ppa number and allows you to set it according to the HW path from lanscan and the NM ID number that it corresponds to.

5) display : displays statistics about the appropriate card.

PAY attention to the inbound & outbound octets areas listed on the card, also pay attention in this same area to see if you have any inbound or outbound I/O errors on the card, errors here would represent possible connectivity loss on the card.

Hope this helps.

Happy holidays, and don't forget the points.

HI
If you have measureware agents installed and running on your system, the extract utility can be used to generate reports based on network interface cards.

Thanks.
Prashant.
Take it as it comes.

If you do not have glance+, you can get some information from netstat -i that gives cumulative inpkts and outpkts. But you can't really get any bandwidth type of utilization.
