how could i change the model script of the printer already exists in the system

i created the printer with the model script generic printer but customer wants with the model script hplaserjet 5si . so how would i change only the model script of the printer without deleting the printer.

Simply replace it. Nothing is necessary to change the script except that the printer is not printing at the moment. The only thing special is to copy the 5Si script to the correct location of the current printer's script. NOTE: the printer must be connected with a serial or parallel cable, or it must be connected directly on the network using the JetDirect protocol. You cannot replace the printer's script with anything if the printer is being shared from some other computer.
