Re: How do I configure my modem as dial in?
choose configuration options menu (4)
data transfer menu (2)
setup modem port (9)
It will scan current modem settings where you will ask if you want to keep these settings, where you will answer no to change callin enabled from [n] to [y], if necessary
Hope this helps.

Re: How do I configure my modem as dial in?
To configure a External USRobotics Modem is very simple:
If the modem has 8 dip swithes in the back so:
1 - DOWN
2 - UP
3 - UP
4 - DOWN
5 - UP
6 - UP
7 - DOWN
8 - DOWN
More informations about how to setup your HP machine go to:

Re: How do I configure my modem as dial in?
The linked document should assist you.
http://www.docs.hp.com/hpux/onlinedocs/B2355-90698/00/00/27-con.html
Also what system are you attempting to do
this on? The 'N' and 'L' class are quite
difficult to get this function working and
the 'K' class has a bad history of reliability
in the internal modem hanging which sometimes
not only requires a reboot to reset it but may
even need a power cycle.
Regards
Michael
