How do I create a cd from a software bundel dat tape

I would like to create a cd from a dat tape witch contains some software bundels. What I would like to know is how to do this since I have tried many ways but unsuccessfull. I need to do this since some of my servers have not got any dat drives.

Do you have a network connection? How about doing an swcopy to a local disk depot on one server, then swinstalling from one server to another across the network?
