How do I define the second internal serial port as a modem?

How do I define the second internal serial port as a modem?

Here?s an excerpt from:

A5075-96006
HP Diagnostics Guide: V2500 Server

DUART
A Dual Universal Asynchronous Receiver-Transmitter (DUART)
provides to RS232 serial ports and a single parallel port. One serial port
provides an interface to a terminal used as a local console to analyze
problems, reconfigure the system, and provide other user access. The
parallel port of the DUART drives the LCD. The second RS232 port can
be used for a modem for field service.

Here?s output from my system:

olympia:/ # ioscan -funC tty
Class I H/W Path Driver S/W State H/W Type Description
===================================================================
tty 0 15/1 consp1 CLAIMED INTERFACE Built-in Serial Port DUART
/dev/diag/mux0 /dev/mux0 /dev/tty0p0
tty 1 15/2 consp1 CLAIMED INTERFACE Built-in Serial Port DUART
/dev/diag/mux1 /dev/mux1 /dev/tty1p0

You can?t see these entries in SAM so I?m going to have to do this with commands.
What are the steps please?

This is to connect a UPS to the V2500 and have software monitor the UPS.
The software needs this port defined as a modem.

Thanks for your help,
Curtis
