How do I reset pts devices for disconnected sessions?

Doing "who -R" shows 4 sessions as below
but 2 of those are no longer connected.
I would like to reset the pts devices, for example /pts/4 and /pts/13, so they don't show up in the "who -R" output.

who -u

kill the processes corresponding to /pts/4 and /pts/13. They will not then show up in your who -R

Thanks for the response.
Using who -u showed up an old shell process for the old pts devices which I have been able to kill.
