How do I turn off a flashing Attn light on an L serve?

The ATTN light is attached to the GSP and lights up to request a review of the logs.

It often lights up on reboot and can be a nuisance.

Hi,

From the console, press B to get into the GSP mode. From the GSP> prompt, type 'sl' and press Enter to get into the service logs. At that point you can select which logs you which to view. Select the error logs and you can see which errors caused the flashing light. When you quit out of looking at the logs the attn light should go off. Type CO to return to the console.

If you just have a flashing green light you probably had something simple like a power failure or a reboot. If the attn light is flashing red you might have hardware problems.

Make sure you have a good look at the logs in GSP (control-B - SL)

Sometimes there is an underlying problem that should be examined and if necessary a hardware call paced with HP.

The reason for the attn light blinking is that there are some logs written fresh and attention is reqd. from the operator to view them.

Just view the logs as mentioned above.
Once you view the log the light stops blinking.
Make sure you are verifying the logs with awareness

Not necessarily only when there is error logged but even when server is rebooted, attn light blinks, but it is necessary to look the service logs as all other suggested and should not neglact it.

on the console press Ctrl+b

gsp>sl
for filter potio say 'no' (n)
(will display error code, which we can't understand)
press 'q'
gsp> co

will come back to console mode

attn flashing lights will be off now.
