How do we configure SAMBA in MC SG cluster
Hi All,
Could you let me know, how we can configure samba fail over in MC SG. Two different packages may have two different mappings and these two packages should run on different servers. THe MC SG cluster is running on a 2 node cluster (2 N Class server).
Thanks
Senthil

Re: How do we configure SAMBA in MC SG cluster
CIFS/9000 Server helps you configure HA configuratin with Samba.
You can download it on the web "www.software.hp.com" and load it using swinstall and then, go to /opt/samba/HA
There're two directories named both active-active and active-standby.
The former has some useful sample configuration HA scripts (Package control & configuration file and Samba monitor shell script for configuring Samba on MC/SG cluster with nodes active-active).
The latter is for MC/SG cluster with nodes active-standy, that is, at least one node is dedicated to standby.
With scripts there, you can customize them for your environment.
Hope this helps,
Insu,
