How do you mirror an internal boot drive to a SAN boot drive

Are the procedures the same for mirroring an internal boot disk to a SAN disk as for doing an internal boot disk to internal boot disk mirroring? My RP7400 runs 11.11.

You are using device files while mirroring - so it makes no difference.

What do you want to mirror? An internal disk to a SAN device? A LUN from one array to another?

Hi:

If you are asking about LVM mirroring, then the mirrors are done at the *logical volume* level. Thus, the question is immaterial. See the manpages for 'lvextend'.

Yes - the procedure is the same for LVM mirroring whether using Internal or SAN or JBOD disks...
