Hi. How can I quickly check to see how much RAM my system has. I'm running

Re: How much RAM do I have?
You can find out your RAM in two ways. One is through SAM. At the prompt:
#sam
Choose Performance Monitors
then
choose System Properties
then
choose the Memory tab
or
at the prompt:
#dmesg | grep Physical
Good luck

Re: How much RAM do I have?
Because dmesg is a FIFO, any messages that fill this buffer can roll out the
information regartding memory.
The system logs this info to /var/adm/syslog/syslog.log at every system boot.
So I have found the easiest way is to do:
grep Physical /var/adm/syslog/syslog.log
or
grep Physical /var/adm/syslog/OLDsyslog.log
information regartding memory.

grep Physical /var/adm/syslog/syslog.log
