how the two NIC set standby each other

for failover,the two load-balancing machine WSD require the server RP3410 NIC standby each other.are this idea realitied in hp-ux network subsystem

To have true load balancing you need a pay for program called auto port aggregation. It lets two nics have one external ip address.

Other schemes will merely provide failover. I've done something with cron and shell scripts, but its far from tested.

Serviceguard lets you configure a standby lancard that can also wait and take over an ip address in the event of failure.

Hi,

Load balancing / stand by nics can be configured using APA software ( like SEP mentioned)
If i understand your question correct you have two servers and you like one server to take over the load in case server one dies.
I would advice MC/SG if this is not possible to achieve this using the application software.
MC/SG is as APA, an add on product that needs to be bought. More info on the products can be found at docs.hp.com
