How to add disks
Dear All,
I have install hp unix 11.31. Now there are additional disks in my server each of 300 GB.
I want to create a single group of 600 GB and then want logcal partition as per my requirement. Because requirement of partion size are like 350 GB,150GB, 100 GB, 40 GB.
Request for help in this activity.

It depends.
On newer servers like rx3600/6600/2660 there are SAS disks either under LSI or smartarray P400 controller control.
What do you have?

Shalom Nirav,
If you have a P400 hardware controller, you can boot your system at console, use the nvram program to configure and present new disks.
If you need to use any kind of raid, this is the most efficient way to accomplish your goal.
