how to add kernel parameter shmmin

We wiped a server of HP-UX 11.00, installed HP-UX 11.11 and are preparing to install Oracle server. One of the prerequistes is to set kernel parameter shmmin=1. That parameter is not there. How do I had this parameter?

Re: how to add kernel parameter shmmin

You don't. HP-UX has no such kernel parameter.

Are you sure you are looking at the HP-UX kernel parameter docs? shmmin sounds like a Sun Solaris parameter.

Re: how to add kernel parameter shmmin

Thank you Gentlemen. Document KBRC00008196 explains that this was an Oracle document error.
