How to add the C720 drive into the kernel
I have an L1000 system and two A4800A Scsi Cards installed on it.
And I installed 11iv2 system on it and the A4800A card can't be recognized and I know it need c720 driver but I can't find it in the driver list
So what can I do?
Thx

Re: How to add the C720 drive into the kernel
Check if driver is installed:
what /stand/vmunix | grep scsi_c720
if there is no driver istall it via sam - http://docs.hp.com/en/A6828-96002/ch02s07.html
regards,
ivan

Re: How to add the C720 drive into the kernel
there are references to other (ultra scsi) cards and the u320 drivers.
perhaps the os doesn't support it any longer?

Re: How to add the C720 drive into the kernel
bad news for you:
the controller cards are NOT supported with HP-UX 11i v2.
http://h18000.www1.hp.com/products/quickspecs/11729_div/11729_div.HTML
BTW, there are no FW SCSI devices supported with 11.23.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
