How to automacally abort the Mount Request Omniback Session?
Someone told me just modify the "global" file's MoutDelay option.
How to modify it and make it effective?
I modified the "MountDelay=10", but it still not abort the Mount requesst session.
Thank you.

Re: How to automacally abort the Mount Request Omniback Session?
to make it effective just stop/start omniback services with:
/opt/omni/sbin/omnisv.sh stop
/opt/omni/sbin/omnisv.sh start
Before doing this check that there are no current sessions running with: omnistat

When a Mount Request is issued, there are times when you don't want to
use the particular tape that it is requesting, but would like OBII to go
back to the pool and select another tape. We need to be able to tell
OBII to go back and select another tape for use, and not abort the
backup.
A window popping up similar to the current mount request window, but
with three options/icons:
1. Confirm mount request with the requested media
2. Confirm mount request, but use another media
3. Deny mount request, and abort backup

Re: How to automacally abort the Mount Request Omniback Session?
since we wanted to abort a session which is in a mount request state, we modified the script /opt/omni/lbin/Mount.sh
(OmniBack 2.55)
We created a script named mount_abort.sh which you can specify at the "advanced options" for each logical device.
This script is a copy of the Mount.sh with the following command added just one line above the "exit 0"-line:
/opt/omni/bin/omniabort -session $SESSIONKEY 2>/dev/null 1>/dev/null
Because this script also is taken for a restore Mount-Prompt, you should left the "MountPromptDelay" at 30 Minutes that you have the chance to satisfy and confirm a mount request in this case.
