How to check oracle version in HP-UX

Please tell me how to check the oracle version running on my HP-UX server.

su - oracle
check if ORACLE_HOME and ORACLE_SID are set correctly
$ORACLE_HOME/bin/sqlplus "/ as sysdba"
select * from v$version;
