how to check the default fonts for HPUX10.20 and HPUX11i
My application was loaded in HPUX10.20 and it required "-adobe-helvetica-bold-r-normal--10-200-75-75-p-60-iso8859-1" but it cannot find it in the fonts server, therefore it grep a default fonts.
We load the same application to a HPUX11i machine, same problem. But HPUX11i now grep a different default fonts. How can I know what is the default fonts use for these two different OS version. Thanks

Re: how to check the default fonts for HPUX10.20 and HPUX11i
I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for, but you can use the /usr/bin/X11/xlsfonts command to list out the available fonts on the system.
Also, are you using a font server? Perhaps using a system as a font server that has the fonts installed for your applications would be a way to make sure all systems can access the necessary fonts, even if they are not located locally.

Re: how to check the default fonts for HPUX10.20 and HPUX11i
xlsfont | grep -i adobe.
list all fonts installed and available to the Xserver.
xset -q will show the default font paths .... also see the /etc/X11/fs/config file (this is where the paths are configured).
