How to configure lan cards
Hi All .
We have ia64 rx2620 HP servers. each server
have 4 lan cards .we have to configure all lan cards as , utility, management, data and and user .
Initially I configured one lan cards "managment " and now have to cinfigure rest of them . I used sam and assign ips to each lan card and configured.
My Questiones r below ?
How to bring thse other Vlan in operation ? I can not ping and I can ot be log in with these valan excep one "managment " which already configured ,
which files need to be update or change?
what inforamtion I need atleast ( I have Ips and gateways, subnet mask not provided, when I try to configured first Vlan via SAM Its automatically take subnet 255.255.0.0
PROBLEMS
I hsve problem too with configured Vlan
This management Vlan sometimes dropped . I mean just connection lost and we can not be able to connect the server and some times it come again .
is any body know what will reason??
