how to configure redundency and load balance

dear all
I've two leased line configured in two different HP 7100 router.
and both the router is connected to Cisco ASA5500 and ASA is connected to the Core Switches.
please guide how to load balance traffic like if the load on first link(2MB) increases, 2nd link(1 MB) should come up and vice versa.
if possible can we dedicate some traffic to the 2nd link as well.
plz suggest

Re: how to configure redundency and load balance

Hi,

You need to install and configure Auto Port Aggregation, this is not a free product. Have a look at below link to the product.

Re: how to configure redundency and load balance

I think this is more about link aggregasion in LAN.

but my concern is to configure my routers for redundency or load balancing.
I think there must be some feature in HP GLBP in Cisco.

anyway thanks for ur quick reply and suggestion.

Re: how to configure redundency and load balance

I think the config you want to make must be done in Cisco devices. Using GLPB the only thing you have to do on HP is to configure the gateway to point to the GLPB Group's virtual IP and the Cisco device will do the load balance.

Re: how to configure redundency and load balance

thanks for the response.
usually we connect the ASA(firewall) with one outside interface(to router end), and one inside interface(to LAN).
there is a switch in between the routers and firewall.
we have HP routers and GLBP is s cisco proprietry.
so what cab be done.
really I'm confised.
plz help.
