How to configure SAMBA on HPUX 11.00.
I would like to know how to configure SAMBA on HPUX 11.00. Where can I get the SW package as I can't find them in the Appl CDs? Please help. Thanks a lot.

Re: How to configure SAMBA on HPUX 11.00.
On the software / Application CD's it's called CiFS Client and CiFS Server
Easiest configuration is to use swat, which is included in CiFS
http://your.server:901/
The advantage of that is a simple user interface. The big disadvantage is that it will ruin the carefully formatted layout of smb.conf if you did it by hand. Another disadvantage is that you won't see all the options.
# man smb.conf
Will tell you everything you wanted to know about samba, but never dared to ask.

The other nice thing about using SWAT - the online documentation - just about anything you could possibly want is in it.
Make sure you install HP's Samba:
