SolutionIf you want to make a duplicate, just burn the cd as duplicate the original. It doesn't matter if the cd is hp ux or any other platform. Duplication will take care of that. Nero should be fine if you want to duplicate.

You don't transfer the data from cd to pc and then copy to another cd. within the cd writing software you get an option to duplicate / copy cd. Use that option to duplicate cd's. It doesn't matter in what format the original is written, it is duplicated to another cd. This is handled by the program (like nero) itself. Look at the documentation / help that is available with the cd burner software.

But dumping it to PC and then burning would'nt work !. Better make a duplicate

I have simple way out If you have nero burning software 5
This is how you need to do
programs--->roxio cd creator 5-->Disc copier-->
copy from -->source cd
record to --->CDR or CDRW
--->copy
