How to decrease/increase the the system time by One hour

Hi,

We are having HP 11.00 OS, I want to increase & decrease the system time by one hour. Please help me in this regard

Kumar,
you can change the system time/date with the date command.

See "man date"

Example:
Set Date
Set the date to Oct 8, 12:45 a.m.

date 10080045

set your TZ env var to one time zone Esterly, or abt. 15 deg.

Hi Kumar,

First make sure that time doesn't impect on your application. you can do it from "date" command.
see " man date"
#date mmddhhmm CCYY
#date 01160515 2007
