Re: how to determine the version of JFS

Hi,

Offhand, I can only say try fsadm, fstyp and also swlist -l product|grep -i -e "jfs" -e "vxfs"

Hope this helps. Regards.

Re: how to determine the version of JFS

Hello MJ,
You can use the command:
swlist -l product -a revision JournalFS
to find out the version of JFS you are using.

Re: how to determine the version of JFS

If you want to know the version that is installed, use swlist. However it is possible to create an FS with a lower version of JFS. To determine the version of a particular file system, use fstyp -v [lvol].
