how to disable nntp ( etwork news transfer protocol)

I have been looking and have not found if there is a way to disable the NNTP on a HP9000 runiing HP-UX 11.11. We had a security audit and this is one thing that showed up.
Is there a way to disable it on the HP9000?

Comment out of the /etc/services file then recycle the inet

inetd -c

The -c option will tell inet to reread its configuration
