Re: how to do maintenence.
Hi
By maintainance do you mean HP support?
Or Hp Predictive?
Or EMS ?

Re: how to do maintenence.
I don't follow your question fully,
but you can run diagnostics interactively via
xstm (X windows)
mstm (Curses driven - text based)
cstm (command line for scripting)
Alternatively, you can get a tool to gather all sys info such as http://www.grc.hp.com/docs/nickel/
As for deleting files.. start with your netscape/browser cache ;)

Re: how to do maintenence.
Hi
if you want to delete some file you need to know what to delete .
the log files that i can think about that you can trim them ( not to delete ) are list when
you are opening the SAM going to routine task
and choosing files - over there you can trim
any logs file of the system but you shuold know that you will loose info that will help you to trubleshoot when you have problem .
you can do a lot of thing's but i think that the number one thing to do is backup your system disk with ignite - the recovery become very easy after that .
here is the link to get the ignite :
http://www.software.hp.com/products/IUX/download.html
here is the link of the info :
http://www.software.hp.com/products/IUX/index.html
you also need to install the last PAX patch : PHCO_20388 - s700_800 10.20 pax(1) cumulative patch
