How to fbackup data to DLT tape in DLT Library(DLT800 or DLT818) by auto tape loading/unloading?

I want to use fbackup command to backup data by DLT Autoloader (DLT8000 library or DLT818).
Due to big size data(200GB), I think its need to change DLT tape during backup. Are there some methods to use Autoloader's loading/unloading function?

Thanks in advice.

There is a document KBAN0000190 that describes the setup and configuration of tape libraries in HPUX 10.X and 11.X

Once this is complete, you will have access to the autochange features within the library.

To access the document, click on the "Maintenance/Support" item on the left menu; select Technical Knowledge base, in the search space, type in KBAN00000190 (note that the number given above is missing one 0) Select: "Seach by Doc Id"
you should then be able to read the document.
... I believe you would have to have a system handle linked to your user id. If you have difficulties with the above, lets know and the document can be pasted here.
nothing wrong with me that a few lines of code cannot fix!

Hi Chen,

beside the Document KBAN00000190 that Kofi named to you, you should read the Document with Number KBRC00000107 (Title: An example fbackup chgvol for autoloaders). Inside you will find a script for using the "chgvol" option from fbackup to change the DLT unattended. It will use the mc command that we discussed in your first question.

Have Fun
