Re: how to figure the internal disks
I would go to the server room, enter the following
dd if=/dev/dsk/cxtydz of=/dev/null
in console, and look at what disk led is continously on.

Re: how to figure the internal disks
The size of the path doesn't matter in this case.
I would bet this is a rp24x0, right?
In this case, the internal drives are
disk 0 0/0/1/1.15.0 sdisk CLAIMED DEVICE MAXTOR ATLAS15K_36SCA
/dev/dsk/c1t15d0 /dev/rdsk/c1t15d0
disk 1 0/0/2/1.15.0 sdisk CLAIMED DEVICE MAXTOR ATLAS15K_36SCA
/dev/dsk/c3t15d0 /dev/rdsk/c3t15d0
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: how to figure the internal disks
model
this will give you the model name of your server.
If you get something like
9000/800/A500-7X
(note the "A500" or "A400") your system is an A-Class server, aka as rp2450 or rp2470.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: how to figure the internal disks
Or you could refer the system block diagram and lookfor the I/O paths.
