I am looking at finding as much useful information as possible in the following areas:-
- Disk Mirroring
- JFS
- Striping disks
- Nike Arrays
- LVM
Anyone documents, books, white papers or anything else useful that someone could point me to would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Re: How to find good information on LVM?
If it is possible for you, HP's Hands On with LVM course would cover all of your topics. Three days of building stuff with LVM, Mirror Disk, Base and Online JFS, etc. See www.hp.com/education for more information.

Re: How to find good information on LVM?
"Choosing the Right Disk Technology in a High Availability Environment" at url http://www.docs.hp.com/hpux/onlinedocs/ha/diskwp2.pdf
A link to this document in included in http://www.docs.hp.com/hpux/ha/index.html
"HP JFS 3.3 and HP OnLineJFS 3.3 VERITAS File System 3.3 System Administrator's Guide (HP-UX 11.0, HP-UX 11i)" at url http://www.docs.hp.com/hpux/pdf/B3929-90011.pdf . You'll find in this one a lot of details about the various VxFS (JFS) disk layouts and features. Most information found in this document is also valid for HP-UX 10.20.
"HP JFS 3.3 Access Control Lists (HP-UX 11.0)" at url http://www.docs.hp.com/hpux/onlinedocs/os/jfs_acl.pdf
"HP-UX Large Files White Paper Version 1.4 (HP-UX 10.x, HP-UX 11.0)" at url http://www.docs.hp.com/hpux/onlinedocs/os/lgfiles4.pdf
Links for the last 3 documents can be found in this page:

Regarding JFS, you may also want to have a look at Veritas' Web site. HP licensed their JFS product from Veritas.
