Hi,
There are some performance monitoring tools
that you could use.
top
glance (if you have it installed)
Glance is much better and you can install
a 60 day trial version from your
application CD set.

I agree with Michael.
Personally, I like glance best. It allows you to focus on a specific process and delve deeper into its running state and characteristics.
