How to find out the top I/O Users for a Filesystem?

We're a filesystem that's "ransomed" by some processes or processes... One can't even CD to it. Heavy writes... around 10MB/sec to it... average write time 80 MB/s to 120 MB/s
We've GlancePlus... is there a way to list the heavy hitters?

Re: How to find out the top I/O Users for a Filesystem?

From the command line, i run glance and then choose option 'i'. The top disk using process is shown at the bottom of the screen.

I've also used this program with good results:
http://yong321.freeshell.org/freeware/pio.html
(pio.c and topio perl script)

I tried w/o much luck to write a custom glance syntax file to show a list of processes sorted by some disk metrics in /opt/perf/paperdocs/mwa/C/metrics.txt. Maybe someone else has a script that works...

Shalom,

Modifying the i/o scripts included in this package might help.
