I am trying to find and old Ignite version (5.4.50 for HP-UX 11.0). I know I should be using the latest one, but for some reasons I need exactly this one.
The software.hp.com page only offers me the very latest version (6.1.something), and I have been unable to get any older version. Any hints? I have no CDs at hand, but it also looks like this version was never released on a CD for 11.0 (it was for 11.11, though).
Thanks for your help. Regards,
Javier

Re: How to get an old Ignite version (5.4.50)
It is available on-line, but you have to HACK to get it:
(1) open this site:
https://h20293.www2.hp.com/portal/swdepot/try.do?productNumber=IGNITEUXB
(2) Fill in the order request (name, address, etc...)
click on next.
(3) This gives you a Electronic delivery receipt. You will see a clickable URL tag: Ignite-UX-11-00_C.6.1.44_HP-UX_B.11.00_32_64.depot
Right click and save shortcut (or copy link location)
(4) Paste this into another BROWSER window!!
Then EDIT the URL, replacing
Ignite-UX-11-00_C.6.1.44_HP-UX_B.11.00_32_64.depot
with
Ignite-UX-10-20_B.5.4.50_HP-UX_B.11.00_32+64.depot
(5) hit return and get the download!

Re: How to get an old Ignite version (5.4.50)
Thanks for your answers. In fact, we tried both approaches before asking :).
- First we opened a call to HP, and got this answer:
"If you want to have an other (older) version please install from a local depot or from the SupportPlus CD (for example release 0604).
We do not have any previous release stored locally."
We were unlucky with the SupportPlus suggestion, as this version never went into a CD for 11.0.
- I have also tried Harry's hack, with no luck. When I modify the address, I am taken to a "file not found" page.
Any other idea?
Thanks,
Javier
