Re: how to get in ISL prompt in vpar
ISL is hardware based and at the same time VPAR is a virtual one. You will need a hardware reboot to go to ISL.
You can go this way to get the ISL.
shutdown all the vpars.
Logon to lan console and go to MP. From there you can reset the server.This time you can get your ISL.
from MP type CM
then use any of (RS,RR or TC) to restart the hard partition.

i.e. vparmodify -p vparname and then pick anything You need from the man page.

It's not possible to get ISL prompt in vpar environment, ISL is possible when you are running non vpar mode
