How to identify Npar

Hi All,

I have a Rx8640 machine running 4 vpars (under 1 npar). Now I am in a need to identify the npar which will be one among 4 vpars. Is there a command to identify this?

Please help me soon.

Regards,
Druva

Re: How to identify Npar

If all vPar runs from one partition, you can check from OS side using the parstatus command.

# parstatus -w

Dhruva,

If you have 4 vpars under one npar.
Always nPAR is first vPAR.
whenever we are creating the npar with one cell board that time cell board will be use as a core cell.
so with help of parstatus and vparstatus you can easily find the core cell and where is used that cell board.

Dhruva,

If you are looking to find which path your vpar monitor booted from (nPar boot disk) you can connect to the MP, jump on the console, use ctrl-A to switch to the MON> prompt and type 'bootpath'.

Richard
