A Google search for:
samba OR cifs HP-UX 10.20
found (among other things):

http://forums.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=100749

I don't use it much, but I'm pretty sure that
Samba comes with some documentation.

It appears most if not all sources for Samba for HP/UX 10.20 have dried up.

You may want to consider setting up the HP/UX 10.20 box as an NFS server. Then get yourself a copy of "Microsoft Services For Unix" which was free. That includes NFS. If you get the package you should be able to install just the NFS client portion.

If I missed samba for HP/UX 10.20 I too would appreciate knowing it is located.
