How to install a motorola codex 3265 modem in hpux 1.20
I am trying to install motorola codex 3265 modem in hp-ux 10.20 system with mux port. Anybody have experince on this pls help me. I can dial out by the modem itself by changing the dial options but unable to dial from the system with "cu". message is
Autodialing - please wait
Connect failed: Requested device not available
pls help me on this matter

Hi Suranji
You need to change the /etc/uucp/Devices file to get rid of that error . Include the following two lines in /etc/uucp/Devices
Direct ttydXaY - 9600 direct \D
ACU ttydXaY - 9600 ps_mt1432_tone
Also you can use the following command to find out what is happenning
cu -l/dev/ttydXaY -s9600 -d1 < phone No.> for autodialling .
