Re: How to install HP-UX 11i via the network?
The HP equivalent is Ignite.
What you need to do is set up an Ignite server with the Core OS swcopied into an NFS share mountpoint.

Re: How to install HP-UX 11i via the network?
Yes you can have a ignite server to install HP-UX 11.0, 11.11 and 11.23
You need to have 3 different configurational stanza in your INDEX file.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks

Re: How to install HP-UX 11i via the network?
1. You can create multiple software depots (e.g., 11.11, 11.23) under Ignite that you can install HP-UX from after booting the target system from your Ignite server.
2. You can create an Ignite "golden image" from an existing system and load this image to after booting the target system from the Ignite server. This will be the faster, preferred method
Refer to the Ignite System Administration Guide, Chapter 7, Golden Images.
Before doing anything make sure you've installed the current Ignite version from software.hp.com.
