How to kill/release the port IO?

I need to release the port 7788, pls help!!! tks!

Do you have JSweb as a web browser running from windows? This is GIS publishing.

to find and stop / kill the processes associated to the port.

'lsof -i tcp:7788'

Also, comment out 7788 in /etc/services and reboot.

Also use 'netfmt' command to track processes:

netfmt -LN -f /var/adm/nettl.LOG* > /tmp/file
