How to make_tape_recovery with remote tape device?

Does someone could help me to make tape recovery with remote tape device?

Unfortunately, it can't be done unless you take that remote tape drive and sneaker net it to the machine in question.

Otherwise, you are stuck with doing a make_net_recovery.
