how to mirror 2 storages using vxvm

Hi,

I want to use vxvm to mirror two storages, to make sure mirror will be on separate storage, I am not sure if the command below works or not :

vxassist -g testdg make lvtest 1024 layout=mirror nmirror=2 mirror=enclr

If yes, do I have to use enclosure-based naming device? how to just specify the storage array's name without using enclosue-based device name?

If no, which command and/or options should I use?

Thanks,

Ming

Why not just mirror it to an alternate disk?

vxassist mirror lvtest alternate_disk

where alternate_disk is the disk name assigned to another disk.
