how to monitor throughput on a HPUX 11 box
Is there way to monitor the diffirent netwrok services for HP-UX. Somthing like to ntop.org.
Any assitance would be great!

This may sound like a stupid answer, but why not use ntop. It will require that you compile the code, but its fairly simple. Remember that you will need libpcap installed on your system since ntop uses libpcap. You can get libpcap from the HP porting center:
http://hpux.cs.utah.edu/hppd/hpux/Networking/Admin/libpcap-0.6.2/

Hi,
If you have HP-UX MIBs loaded, then you can use MRTG for off-server monitoring of your server's no. of concurrent TCP connections, inbound network traffic and network outbound traffic as well as CPU load, memory utilisation, swap utilisation, etc.
MRTG is downloadable at:
http://www.mrtg.org.
The best part is that because it is a web-based graphical tool, you can present both historical and real-time data as graphs on a website.
