Hi,
How to receive/collect external mail from
MS exchange server as POP client does?
I would like to do it without doing anything
on MS exchange.

You can use the fetchmail utility to get mail for the box. It will fetch mail using POP, or various other protocols and drop it into the local sendmail service.

I haven't installed it on HPUX, but the source should be available on any of the Linux sites.

Another alternative is to set up a forwarding rule in MS Exhchange to forward the mail to your emailaddress on the server.

If it's just for reading, Netscape includes a POP mail reader.

Unless you modify MS Excrash to forward the mail, and configure sendmail on the Unix system there is no other way to do this other than a POP client.
